Lives of StarsVidas de las estrellas
A star is not a thing so much as a process that takes a while. Over thirty-four steps you follow three of them from a contracting cloud to what they leave behind — a solar-mass star to a white dwarf, a ten solar-mass star to a neutron star, and a forty solar-mass star to a black hole — reading every stage off the same diagram and the same published tracks. You will also meet the star that does none of this: a red dwarf that will still be burning hydrogen when the Universe is a hundred times its present age.

Eighty to a hundred minutes, after "A Universe of Stars" if you have time for both - steps 1 to 7 recap enough of it that this one can stand alone if you do not. It works as the spine of a stellar-evolution unit, and steps 27 to 31 are a natural place to hand over to any nucleosynthesis material you teach afterwards. No calculus. Nothing needs sound.Eighty to a hundred minutes, after "A Universe of Stars" if you have time for both - steps 1 to 7 recap enough of it that this one can stand alone if you do not. AccessibilityAccesibilidad
The interface is operable from the keyboard, including the investigations, the measuring tools and the dialogs, which trap focus and return it. Measurements and state changes are announced through a live region, and the canvas carries a text description of what is on it that updates as the system evolves. Automated checks (axe-core) and a set of manual keyboard walkthroughs run in continuous integration on every change.
Interface animation follows the operating system’s reduced-motion setting. Four themes are provided, including a light one built for projectors and a high-contrast dark one. Nothing on this page moves until you ask it to.La animación de la interfaz respeta la preferencia de movimiento reducido del sistema operativo.
