Two PeriodogramsDos periodogramas
A Lomb-Scargle and a box least squares periodogram of the same light curve disagree by a factor of two. You will compute both with Astropy in a reviewed Python notebook, see why the sine-wave peak sits at a harmonic of the planet’s period, and learn why a period read off a periodogram has no error bar of its own.Un periodograma de Lomb-Scargle y uno de mínimos cuadrados de caja de la misma curva de luz discrepan en un factor de dos.
